The name Fìkh Yèh Qoh is derived from the Constructi language, as Fìkh Yèh Qoh was founded by Joan Garthesí, who was culturaly Constructi.
Climate
Fìkh Yèh Qoh has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 24°C (75°F). Fìkh Yèh Qoh receives an average of 186 cm/y (73 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Fìkh Yèh Qoh covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 5370 m (17618 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Fìkh Yèh Qoh was founded durring the early 12th century in summer of the year 1103, by Joan Garthesí. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Joan Garthesí.
Fìkh Yèh Qoh was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Yèh Qoh is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Fìkh Yèh Qoh is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of spacious paverstone streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Fìkh Yèh Qoh's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The monster and outlaw focused fortifications has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.
Fìkh Yèh Qoh is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife.
Civic Infrastructure
Fìkh Yèh Qoh has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Fìkh Yèh Qoh.
Fìkh Yèh Qoh has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Fìkh Yèh Qoh has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Fìkh Yèh Qoh has a Hall of Slayers, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Fìkh Yèh Qoh has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Fìkh Yèh Qoh's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Fìkh Yèh Qoh has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Fìkh Yèh Qoh has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Fìkh Yèh Qoh is led by one or more incompetents. While they must have been very good at something to have acquired the position, they are fundamentally incapable of leading. Uncontrolled passions or lusts, commitment to a hopelessly impractical ideal, pigheaded obstinacy in the face of failure, a total lack of charisma or interpersonal skills, or profound laziness might all unfit them for their post.
Fìkh Yèh Qoh's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.
In Fìkh Yèh Qoh there is a constant smell of overcooked presumably ethnic food.
Fìkh Yèh Qoh's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves sacrificing an animal to channel Invocation energies of tier 2 via mimery.
Economy
